Wow, was I impressed while listening to an interview with Gail Halverson talk about his life and his role as the Candy Bomber or wiggly wings during the Berlin Airlift this week. He is 90 years old ans still relatively fit. He told the story behind his motivation to drop candy using homemade parachutes to the children in Berlin just prior to landing during the Berlin Airlift after world war II (1948-49).
Quite inspiring!

Sehr beeindruckend!
